Custom Dashboards and Internal Tools in Saudi Arabia

Dashboard and internal tool development: one screen for the sales, orders, stock and leads your team now pulls together by hand, plus the approval and admin tools around it. Built in Arabic and English for businesses in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

What it is

One screen for numbers that live in different places

In many small and mid-size businesses, the numbers sit in separate systems. Sales are in the POS, orders in an ordering system or a store platform, stock in a spreadsheet or the accounting tool, and leads in WhatsApp chats. Someone copies them into a sheet each week to see the whole picture.

A custom dashboard reads from those systems and shows them together. An internal tool is a screen your team works in, such as an approval form or an admin panel. Both are built around how your team works and sit on top of the systems you already run.

What one screen can pull together

  • Sales from your POS
  • Orders, with the status of each one
  • Stock levels and items running low
  • New leads from WhatsApp, and who is following up
  • Collections: invoices issued, paid and overdue

What a screen can show depends on what each system lets us read. We check that first.

Choosing

When a spreadsheet or your current system is enough

A custom build costs more than a spreadsheet. It pays off in the cases below.

Stay with what you have when

  • One person updates the numbers and the rest of the team only reads them. A shared spreadsheet does that job.
  • The numbers live in one system, and its built-in reports answer your questions. Use them.
  • You review the figures once a month, so nobody needs a live screen.

A custom one pays off when

  • The numbers you need sit in two or more systems, and someone copies them together by hand.
  • The built-in report cannot show how you manage the business, such as a comparison across branches or a queue of requests waiting for approval.
  • Several people act on the screen. They approve, assign or update, and each role sees only what it should.
  • You export from a system to a spreadsheet every week to finish the job.

We tell you which side you are on during the audit. If a spreadsheet is enough, we say so.

Beyond the dashboard

Internal tools and custom backend systems

Internal tools

An internal tool is a screen that only your own staff use. Typical examples:

  • An approval workflow where a manager signs off discounts or purchase requests, and every decision is recorded.
  • An admin panel where staff edit prices, menus or customer records without asking a developer.
  • A queue where requests are assigned to people and their status is updated as the work moves.

We scope each one around your process. The approval and notification logic is covered on the workflow automation page.

Custom backend systems

The backend is the part nobody sees: the database, the business rules and the connections to other systems. Every dashboard and internal tool needs one.

Sometimes it already exists in your POS or ERP, and we read from it through its API. When nothing fits, we build a backend that stores the data, applies your rules and serves the screens. The custom software page covers the web apps, mobile apps and APIs we build around it.

Integrations

What we connect

We read from systems that have an API or a data export. These are examples of platforms we connect to.

Platform names are shown for integration context and do not imply an official partnership. The POS and CRM integration page covers how sales data moves between those systems.

Our work

Dashboards and portals we have worked on

These four are projects we worked on. The rest of this page describes what we would build for you.

POSRocket

We built the back-office dashboard for POSRocket, a cloud point-of-sale platform for restaurants and retail: catalog, products, categories and transaction reports.

Takkeh

For Takkeh, a food-delivery startup in Jordan, we built the ordering platform. It includes admin and restaurant web portals, menu management, promotions, live order tracking and driver cash-balance handling.

Nashmi

For Nashmi, a home-services marketplace built for MENA, we built the admin dashboard: services, offers, users and employees, and pricing are all managed from it.

Decapolis

For Decapolis, a blockchain food-traceability platform, we built a middleware portal between the mobile apps and the blockchain. It is multi-tenant, so one platform serves many businesses.

Process

How we build it

Step 01

Agree the decisions and the numbers

We settle which decisions the screen supports and which numbers feed them, so the first version shows what your team uses.

Where this fits in our other work

A dashboard is one kind of custom software, and the custom software page lists the rest. If the main need is a CRM, POS and accounting that work together, start with custom CRM and business systems. Approvals and hand-offs between people are covered under workflow automation.

We deliver for Saudi clients from Amman and meet in person on larger projects. The Saudi Arabia page explains how that works. To find out which of these you need, book the free 30-minute automation audit.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

A built-in report shows the data of one system. A custom dashboard reads from several systems and shows them together, with the filters and user roles you choose. If your system's own report already answers the question, use it.
Any system that has an API or a data export: POS, CRM, accounting, store platforms, Google Sheets and the WhatsApp Business API. Foodics, Odoo, Zoho, HubSpot, Salla and Zid are examples of platforms we connect to, and they do not imply an official partnership. If a system has neither an API nor an export, the audit tells you before you spend anything.
Yes. Every custom project we build supports right-to-left Arabic layouts and Arabic content, alongside English.
Either one. When a platform such as Odoo, Frappe or Zoho already covers most of what you need, we customise it. When it does not, we build a custom system. We recommend one after looking at your process.
It depends on how many systems connect, how many roles use the tool and how ready your data is. We do not publish a price list. You get a scope and a timeline after discovery.
