Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BottleTech ("we", "us", "our") runs this website and Kashif, our free website-audit tool. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written plainly on purpose. For anything that needs explaining, email hello@bottletech.net.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need, and most of it you type in yourself.

When you contact us or book a call: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in your message.

When you run a Kashif audit: your email address, your name if you add it, and the website address you ask us to scan. We also keep the scan results — the score out of 100 and the issues we find.

Automatically, for safety: your IP address and the date and time of each request. We use these to stop abuse, keep the free scan within its limits, and protect the tool from being pointed at systems it should not reach.

3. How we use it

We use your information to run the audit and show you the score and the top issues, and to email you the full report.

A submission also creates a sales lead so someone from our team can get in touch, answer your questions, and, if it fits, talk about working together.

We use the technical data to keep the tool safe and working — rate limits and abuse checks — and for nothing else.

4. The website audit (Kashif)

When you submit a website address, Kashif fetches that site’s public pages from our own server — not from your browser — so it can read them the way a search engine or an AI assistant would. It reads only pages a normal visitor could already open, and it checks each address first so the tool cannot be tricked into reaching private or internal systems (a protection against server-side request forgery, or SSRF). We do not log in anywhere, change your site, or install anything on it.

5. Sales follow-up, and how to opt out

Running an audit or contacting us creates a lead in our system, and someone from BottleTech may follow up by email or WhatsApp to share the report and see whether we can help. This is business contact about the service you asked for — not a newsletter, and not shared with advertisers.

You can opt out at any time: reply "stop" on WhatsApp, tell us to stop in any email, or write to hello@bottletech.net. We will stop, and keep only what we need to honor the request.

6. The AI assistant

This site has a chat assistant. We host it ourselves, at chat.bottletech.net. It is not an advertising tool and it does not follow you to other sites. It is part of the site, so it is there as soon as the page opens and you can ask a question straight away.

To write a reply, the text of your conversation is sent to our AI provider, nexos.ai, which runs the model behind the assistant. So what you type does leave our server and is processed by a third party outside the country.

We keep the conversation on our server so someone from the team can read it and follow up with you. Your browser also stores a session id, which is what keeps the conversation in place if you reload the page.

We do not sell chat conversations and we do not use them for advertising. Analytics is a separate thing and still waits for your answer to the cookie banner.

Please do not type sensitive details into the chat — ID numbers, card numbers, passwords. If we ever need something like that, we will ask for it a safer way.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the people and services that make the audit work:

Our own team, through BottleTech’s internal sales and CRM system; our email provider, to send the report and reply to you; and, when you use the chat, our AI provider (see section 6).

That is the whole list. We do not pass your details to advertisers or data brokers.

8. Where your data is stored, and security

Your data sits on BottleTech’s own servers (a VPS we manage) and travels over an encrypted connection (TLS). We are based in Jordan and serve customers in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, so your data may be handled across those borders. We protect it with technical and organizational measures — access controls, encryption in transit, and keeping only what we need.

9. How long we keep it

We keep audit and lead records while we are in contact with you and for up to 24 months after our last contact, then we delete or anonymize them. Security data (IP addresses and timestamps) is kept for up to 90 days and then rotated out. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will — see your rights below.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email hello@bottletech.net or message +962 7 7837 0057 on WhatsApp and we will act on it. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

11. Children

Kashif and this site are for businesses, not for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email hello@bottletech.net and we will delete it.

12. Cookies and tracking

The audit itself does not need advertising cookies. The chat assistant stores a session id in your browser so a conversation survives a page reload. Any analytics stays off until you accept it in the cookie banner. We do not use tracking that follows you to other sites.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For a change that affects you, we will make it clear on the page.
