Takkeh: from a call center to a food-delivery platform
A Jordanian startup was running food delivery entirely by phone. We built the whole platform — five apps, payments, live tracking — and became their technology team.

The challenge
Takkeh wanted to compete with the big delivery platforms, but every order ran through a manual call center: six operators taking orders by phone, transcribing them by hand, and losing 2–3% of monthly revenue to transcription errors. High cost, slow service, and no way to scale.
What we built
BottleTech became Takkeh’s complete technology partner — from the first scoping workshops to deployment and ongoing support:
- Customer, driver, and restaurant apps for iOS and Android, plus admin and restaurant web portals
- Arab Bank payment gateway, Google Maps routing, SMS and push notifications
- Live order tracking, menu management, promotions, and driver cash-balance handling
- A caching layer for location-based restaurant search that cut API response times by 70%
The results
- Order processing time fell from over an hour to 20–45 minutes
- Order-processing errors dropped 85% — the transcription losses eating 2–3% of monthly revenue stopped
- The call center went from six operators to two, cutting operating costs by around 60%
- 62 restaurants and 1,500 registered users in the first few months, on 99.2% uptime
- Break-even reached within eight months of launch
“BottleTech transformed our vision into reality. They didn’t just build an app — they became our technology partner and guided us through every decision.”
